Well, it’s that time of year when I get to look back on an amazing year of wedding photography and do that most difficult of tasks, select my favourites. One thing I love about doing this is spotting pictures I delivered to my couples but overlooked in the madness of wedding season. When I say overlooked, I mean they didn’t make it to the Instagram feed.
One example of this is a picture taken into a mirror, reflecting the bridesmaids walking to the ceremony at Natasha and Rob’s wedding at The Principal in York. I love the way the mirror is lit and the look of excitement on one of the bridesmaids faces. After spotting this, it went straight on to Instagram. 😉
Anyway, this year’s wedding photography started with Georgia and Carl’s wedding at Middlethorpe Hall and culminated a few days ago in Liverpool. I’m still working on those pictures though, so sorry, you can’t see those yet.
Throughout the year, there have been so many hugs, a lot of tears (in a good way!), trillions of pieces of confetti thrown and laughter. So, so, so much laughter.
Selecting a few images to make a little slideshow is a tough job to say the least. However, here are my favourites, in two and a half minutes.
